The Provincial Offices of the Vanuatu Bureau of Standards (VBS) extend the Bureau’s services to communities, farmers, businesses, and local governments across the islands. Guided by the Bureau of Standards Act No. 14 of 2016, the provincial network ensures that standardization, quality assurance, and conformity assessment services are accessible beyond Port Vila, supporting inclusive national development.

Through these offices, VBS provides:

• Awareness and Outreach on standards, quality, and compliance requirements
• Support to Farmers, Producers, and Exporters in meeting mandatory standards
• Coordination of Training and Capacity Building at the community level
• Facilitation of Inspections, Testing, and Certification Services in the provinces

By bringing services closer to the people, the Provincial Offices strengthen trust, enhance market access for local products, and promote safe, reliable, and high-quality goods and services throughout Vanuatu.

Extends VBS services to all provinces, providing on-the-ground support to businesses, government agencies, and communities.
