The Laboratory Services Division of the Vanuatu Bureau of Standards (VBS) operates under the Bureau of Standards Act No. 14 of 2016, providing scientific testing, calibration, and inspection services that assure the quality and safety of products traded and consumed in Vanuatu.

Through internationally recognized methods and equipment, the Laboratory ensures that commodities, raw materials, and processes comply with Vanuatu Standards, mandatory standards, and technical regulations.
